There are so many barriers when returning to exercise after babies. An expecting parent or new mum is usually time poor — how does one even GET to a one-hour class that is 15 minutes away? Perhaps you’re not feeling their best physically, which can leave you feeling scared to jump back into a generic 60-minute class (Lu knows this feeling all too well — hello sore back and terrible breastfeeding posture!). Plus, there’s navigating a new sickness every other week, which stops you from attending an intense class, and then on top of all of that, you might be returning to paid work, too.
That’s why we created this Feel Good Guide series: 10 classes created specifically for expecting parents and time poor mothers who are navigating pregnancy and paid work, early postpartum, motherhood and paid work…the list goes on.
These classes are designed to make you feel strong in body and calm in mind and to help you stretch out the body that we always put last: the body that is hunched over a feeding baby, cooking for someone else, or bending over a desk and a laptop.
The goal is simple: We’re helping you feel good in navigating work and motherhood with affordable classes that created by an expert and will you have your workout or wind down class ticked off your endless to-do list in 20 minutes or less.
Stop putting yourself last and start with the baby steps that have helped Lu get back into exercises that is safe and smart.
